In 2005 I asked my lover to sing a love song for me. He learned how to play the guitar and sing the song Hold On by Jamie Walters. After a messy breakup and years with no contact, I called him and asked if I could play his recording of the song at an art exhibition. He said yes.

Eleven years after the recording was made I listen to his singing again together with an art audience.
